The fact that Robert Pat­tin­son plays the lead in Allen Coulter’s ‘Remem­ber Me’ shouldn’t imply that this romantic-drama is any­thing like the obsessed-about ‘Twi­light’ fran­chise. On the con­trary, with racier scenes (watch an exclu­sive clip of Pattinson’s shower scene with co-star Emi­lie de Ravin) and darker, adult themes, ‘Remem­ber’ is a wel­come dis­trac­tion from vam­pire and were­wolf love spats.

In the film, Pat­tin­son is Tyler, a trou­bled young man whose rebel­lious response to a fam­ily sui­cide aggra­vates an already strained rela­tion­ship with his father (Pierce Bros­nan). He begins to change his out­look, how­ever, when he meets and falls in love with Ally (Emi­lie de Ravin) — whose father (Chris Cooper) is, unbe­knownst to her, some­how linked to Tyler. And as their affair inten­si­fies, so does the weight of untold secrets until, even­tu­ally, it threat­ens to tear them apart.
