Breaking Dawn Filming details!
From Lainey Gossip:
Twilight has returned to Vancouver. The cast has come to shoot Breaking DawnParts 1 and 2, mostly exteriors after working on mostly interiors in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
*SPOILERS*
I can tell you exclusively that filming includes – in no particular order:
- Bella’s new vampire hunting
- teaching the hybrid child about hunting
- some sh-t in pretend-Alaska
- something about Romanian vampires
- something about a movie theatre and Edward’s flashback
- Bella kicking Jacob’s ass
- Jacob training baby wolves (this all sounds so ridiculous to write, is it as ridiculous to read?)
- Bella practising her mind techniques
- the father-son “baseball” conversation between Carlisle and Edward
- the wedding (yes, the wedding)
- a happy future family scene when the kid is all grown up
- and the final scene of the saga which is, unless they change it in editing, the two lovers in the meadow.
All told about 7 weeks.

Marcus Foster Talks About Rob

Is that how you also got a song in one of the Twilight films?
That was a different thing. That just came about as an accident. I just happen to be friends, well best friends, with the guy who is in the films .
Like who – Robert Pattinson?
Yes, he just took one the songs and ended up, yeah, putting it in the film.
Er, backtrack please. You are best friends with Robert Pattinson? As in, teen-idol, Robert Pattinson? You kept that quiet, that's a pretty big deal.
It is not a big deal for me, because he always used to play and sing my songs for years and years and years.

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrive in Vancouver for "Breaking Dawn"

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the two stars of the blockbuster series The Twilight Saga, rolled into town Monday afternoon at the Vancouver International Airport.
The two on-screen lovebirds — and rumoured real-life couple — were spotted at customs in the international terminal, arriving in town to film the latest installment of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn.
A small group paparrazzi spotted the two inside the terminal and waited for Stewart and Pattinson to emerge.
After around 30 minutes, Stewart was first to leave the terminal, running out to her waiting chauffer vehicle and shielding her head with a jacket.
A few seconds later, Pattinson casually walked out wearing dark sunglasses and a bomber jacket with red sleeves. He kept his head low as the photographers shot him heading to his vehicle.
Stewart’s and Pattinson’s bodyguards escorted the stars from the airport to their cars.
The vehicles took off and headed towards downtown Vancouver.

We at Spunk-Ransom have a policy against posting paparazzi photos, however as we are sure you’ve seen, Rob had a new jacket as he was snapped vigorously by photographers at the airport in Vancouver today. Eclipse Saga did some digging and as it turns out, 1980′s rock star, Eddie Van Halen once wore the same jacket back in 1984 during Van Halen’s tour.
Breaking Dawn Set Pics – Edward & Bella’s Cottage
From Malicious Mandy's Mind:
It looked just about finished, besides some final touches such as foliage, flowers and whatnot. It was perfect. Nestled amongst trees with the stone walls and the square chimney. Looked just about ready for filming!Read more...
Now if we could only see the interior? I wonder if they will filom the interior inside the actual cottage I discovered today or in studio? Perhaps they already filmed it in Baton Rouge Studio? I wonder… it certainly looked large enough to film inside, especially if the back side was open to allow wider angles for cameras. I am not sure as I didn’t want to trespass to peak on the other side.

>> 2011/02/20
From Water for Elephants Fan Blog:
The “ Rodrigo” Mr. Lawrence is referring to is Rodrigo Prieto, our film’s cinematographer.
Some of Mr. Prieto’s other films include, “Brokeback Mountain”for which he was an Oscar and BAFTA nominee for Best Cinimatography in 2006, “Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps”,”8 Mile” and the recent Gloden Globe nominee and current Oscar nominee for best forgien language film “Biutiful”
ADR stand for “Automated” or “Automatic” Dialog Replacement.
Dialog that is flawed on the production tracks must be re-recorded in a process called looping or ADR.
Looping originally involved recording an actor who spoke lines in sync as “loops” of the film were played over and over. ADR is painstaking work. An actor watches the image repeatedly while listening to the original production track on headphones as a guide. The actor then re-performs each line to match the wording and lip movements. Actors vary in their ability to achieve sync and to recapture the emotional tone of their performance. The director needs to supervise and direct the ADR sessions. Read more...
